Join Our Building Our Future Campaign
Launched in 2018, the Building Our Future Campaign was strategically designed in response to the announcement of a new building for Boston Arts Academy. While our new, state-of-the-art school building—long a dream—opened in September 2022, Boston Arts Academy continues to rely on philanthropy, now more than ever before.
Boston Arts Academy was founded by Boston’s ProArts Consortium as a public-private partnership, a model dependent on philanthropy. Boston Arts Academy relies on Boston Arts Academy Foundation to raise critical funds to support the school’s annual budget, to innovate, to respond to urgent needs, to provide specialized equipment and technology, and to ensure the school’s future. The Building Our Future Campaign raises funds for annual arts programming, equipment and technology, flexible cash reserves and endowment, and Campaign operations.
To date, BAA Foundation has raised more than $25 million towards the $35 million goal of the seven-year campaign.
The Building Our Future Campaign will close on June 30, 2025 with a goal of $35 million. This funding ensures that both today and the future are bright for a growing student body of Boston’s most talented young people. In turn, they serve the city of Boston and beyond as artists-scholars-global citizens.
However beautiful, the new school building is only the beginning. It’s the people and programs that matter most and need support.
