You’ve been accepted to BAA! Now what?

Congrats on becoming a part of the BAA community! There are a few more steps to complete the admissions process, which include both required documents and admitted student events. You can click below to learn more detailed information. We can’t wait for you to join us in the coming year!

 

  1. RESPOND
    Parents or Caregivers, please Confirm or Decline your offer of admission to Boston Arts Academy by emailing Ms. Rodríguez at 
    [email protected] as soon as possible (no later than date listed on your acceptance letter:  Friday, April 11, 2025).

  2. SEND
    Email required documents to [email protected]:

    1. Current Official Transcripts

      • Incoming 9th GradersSubmit 7th and 8th grade transcripts.

      • Incoming 10th – 12th Graders: Submit all high school transcripts.

    2. IEP/504 Plan (only if applicable)

  3. REGISTER
    If you are currently not a Boston Public School student and have not yet registered, you must register as soon as possible by contacting BPS Enrollment at 617-635-9010 or visiting a BPS Welcome Center. You can find more detailed information about how to register for BPS HERE.

  4. ATTEND
    Attend all Admitted Student Events, SAVE THE DATES! Please see the timeline of events below:

    • Admitted Student Family Night 2025
       Thursday, March 27 from 6:00-7:30pm at BAA (174 Ipswich St).
      This event is for admitted students and families only.

    • Student Assessments for Math and Spanish 2025
      Friday, May 9, 2025 (3:00-5:00pm)
      Friday, May 16, 2025 (3:00-5:00pm)

    • 3-Day New Student Summer Orientation 2025 (Mandatory)
      All 3 days in August (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
      August 19, 20 & 21, 2025 (8:30am-12:30pm)

  5. COMPLETE
    Admitted students must complete the Summer Reading Assignment, due on the first day of school, Thursday, September 4, 2025:
