Ms. Sabina Miranda is the school counselor for the Dance and Theater departments at Boston Arts Academy. Born in the Cape Verde Islands, raised in Dorchester, and a proud graduate of Boston Public Schools, she is passionate about empowering and uplifting students as they work toward reaching their fullest potential. Known for her warm, approachable, and solution-focused style, Ms. Miranda is committed to helping students navigate challenges with confidence and advocating for equity in education, particularly for historically marginalized communities. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, connecting with people from different backgrounds, exploring new cultures, attending art shows and live theater performances, reading, and listening to music.
