Jocelyne Aboujaoude, BSN, RN, M.Ed was raised in Boston. She studied Theatre Arts at The University of Massachusetts at Boston as an undergrad and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Education. She has 20 years of dedicated Nursing experience working in various settings including hospitals, health centers, visiting nursing, schools and higher education.
Ms Aboujaoude believes School Nurses play a vital role in adolescent health and academic success.
Ms Aboujaoude is currently working in collaboration with the Department of Public Health for Boston Public Schools as an Asthma Nurse Educator managing 7 BPS schools.
She is very active in the BPS nursing community and was elected to Nurse Faculty Senate by her peers 2012-2015 to represent School Nurses on views and policy. She is a nursing clinical preceptor for the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
She enjoys spending her free time with her two daughters swimming, biking, and cooking.
She is fluent in Arabic.
