Jocelyne Aboujaoude, BSN, RN, M.Ed., was raised in Boston and is originally from Lebanon in the Middle East. She has served in the Boston Public Schools system for over 20 years, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to student health and community well-being. In 2019, she was honored with the Shattuck Public Service Award in recognition of her exemplary public service and dedication to the Boston community. Jocelyne is fluent in Arabic, enabling her to effectively support and communicate with diverse communities.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jocelyne enjoys roller skating and staying active. She is often accompanied on walks by her dog, Tobi, and enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She is also a dedicated fan of the Boston Celtics.
