Erica Telisnor has been serving BPS high school students as a college access and career readiness coach with the Boston Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) for the last 3 years. She is a first generation college student who graduated from Berklee College of Music and is also an alum of Boston Arts Academy (class of 2011). This year as a new BAA school partner, she will continue her work of supporting students with the college admissions process, financial aid, and navigating the 21st Century workforce. Aside from her work with Boston HERC, she is a professional musician who composes original music for theater and other projects. In addition to her work as a musician and educator, she also serves at her church, Family Life Fellowship as a Youth Leader and musician.
