Barbara Ghartey is excited to start her first year as a Learning Center Teacher, Seminar 10 Teacher, and Visual Arts Advisor. This is her 5th year working for the Boston Public Schools and she has also spent time working for the students of the Newton Public Schools. Barbara has spent the majority of her career working in the area of Inclusion, actively engaging all learners in the classroom. She looks forward to meeting and working with the staff and students at Boston Arts Academy. Outside of the classroom she can be found spending time with her daughter, reading, crafting, baking and lettering.
