Kristina Berger is a master of what is known as the Horton Technique. This style, according to “The Horton Technique”, an article by Diana Dinerman, focuses on flexibility, fluidity, and the full-bodied engagement of a dancer. Kristina is quoted saying  “A well-trained dancer shouldn’t look trained”. Embracing the process is a sentiment held close at BAA. The Horton technique is an ongoing lesson taught and these lessons have been an amazing expansion to current the dance practice here. Observing Kristina and Anton in this class has shown a form of expression that does not segregate between music and movement. Both artists worked gracefully with the students engaging them in a meaningful exploration of their full potential.
