We are excited to announce that the dance department will receive next year’s STARS grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which supports a three-day-plus residency that brings students and teachers together with practicing artists to create rich cultural experiences. The grant will fund the opportunity for BAA alum, Russell Ferguson in partnership with Adrienne Hawkins, to work with our 9th-12th grade dance students.

Russell Ferguson was the winner of season 6, So You Think You Can Dance, making him the first Krumper to win the competition. Adrienne Hawkins is the founder and artistic director of Impulse Dance, Boston.
