Tour BAA

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to host any visitors at this time. Please revisit our page as the CDC and Boston Public Schools continue to update social distancing restrictions.

About

BAA hosts visits for educators, organizations, and government representatives who wish to learn more about our proven learning model. We believe that the arts are an essential component and right for public school students. As such, we welcome visitors from around the world so that we can share our innovative curricula and practices, run teacher training workshops, and host middle and high school students.

We tailor each visit to meet the needs of each individual or group, which may include meetings with BAA leadership, classroom observations, time with students, and a tour of the school. We look forward to continuing our tradition of hosting visitors – and making lasting connections – with educators, administrators, and students from around the world!

Here’s what some of our visitors have said:

  • "I left absolutely enamored with BAA and challenged myself to advocate for some change in our own district."

  • “We were so impressed by the commitment to quality and professionalism in everything we saw at the school.”

  • “Seeing the way the arts are incorporated in such a fundamental way was powerful.”

  • “My visit to BAA opened up the potential of creative arts as a core teaching and learning model for innovative 21st century education.”

Plan Your Visit

If you are interested in scheduling a visit, please fill out our Visitor Request Form HERE.

Due to a high volume of applicants, we ask that you contact us at least one month in advance of your visit. We are only able to host three visits per month so that we can respect the time commitments of our faculty, staff, and students.
