Prior to joining Boston Arts Academy Foundation, Mervina Rasimin has diverse work experience including the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency , Boston Medical Center and the non-profits such as Zero to Three, and Center for Health and Development, Inc. Moreover, she has a strong solid background working as a key financial manager in the public sector since each of the positions that she held were of escalating responsibility, authority, and decision-making. In her earlier career, Mervina had developed her interest in helping people in distress and/ or in need of assistance regardless of their race, status, or gender, in an effort to better address this issue in today’s society. Mervina holds a Master of Public Administration from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and graduated Cum Laude from Pine Manor College with a B.A. in Accounting and Management.
