Aleksandra Tugbiyele (née Ward) joined the Boston Arts Academy Foundation in October, 2022 bringing 10+ years Development experience managing events, volunteers, relationships, and organizational assets to achieve institutional goals. Prior to joining the Boston Arts Academy Foundation team, Aleksandra served as a Staff Assistant in the Office of the President at Middlesex Community College.

 

Aleksandra is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, an alumni of Middlesex Community College, and earned a certificate from the Institute for Non-Profit Practice’s inaugural Community Fellows-Merrimack Valley program. In 2022 Aleksandra, alongside her husband Bobby, were awarded Community Teamwork Inc’s
“Champion in Action” award in recognition of their history and efforts as community activists in the city of Lowell. Currently Aleksandra serves on the Board of Directors at Community Teamwork, Inc, and as a Co-Facilitator for the DEI Consortium- Lowell.

 

Originally from Worcester, Aleksandra resides in Lowell with her husband their sons. She enjoys Polar Seltzer, hot sauce of all kinds, visiting and supporting small businesses, and together with her boys reading, and practicing Kung-Fu.
