Make A Mark

Support Boston’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts by naming a special space!

rendering of the gathering stairs in the new BAA school building

Since 1998, Boston Arts Academy (BAA) has provided a professional arts education in addition to core curriculum for more than 2,000 of the city’s most diverse and talented artist-scholar-activists. Thanks to the generous donations from people like you and the City of Boston, BAA will celebrate the opening of a state-of-the-art high school in the heart of Boston’s Fenway neighborhood in fall 2022.

The Gathering Stair will be center stage, serving as an inviting public space that offers flexible use and spontaneous interaction.

Both striking and functional, the Gathering Stair near the main entrance of BAA’s new school building will allow people to share ideas and inspiration. Located between Boston Arts Academy’s main entrance and the Learning Commons, the Gathering Stair will be a highly visible and well-traveled space where artists may creatively respond to their environment. Here and in other spaces throughout the school building, BAA’s students will learn from faculty, who are also talented professional artists, as well as each other. Students will perfect their craft as singers, instrumentalists, dancers, fashion designers, filmmakers, lighting, and sound engineers, stage managers, and more.

NAME A SPACE ON THE GATHERING STAIR!
