School-family partnerships are critical to the success and achievement of our students.
The Learning Center
We are proud to be the first Boston Public School named an inclusion high school. Our application and audition process is academic blind, and our students come with a wide range of academic strengths and needs. Our commitment is to support and challenge each student.
We provide special education teachers who serve multiple roles, ESL direct instruction in a “pull out “ model and co-teaching with regular education teachers in a “push in” model, summer reading and math interventions, and an advisory system.
We welcome students with identified learning needs of all kinds. To discuss an IEP/504 plan, ESL instruction, or other accommodations, please contact Academic Dean Joy Bautista at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All caregivers of BAA students are members of the Boston Arts Academy Family Council. The goal of the Family Council is to develop strong communication and support for all families. BAA would not exist without the support of our students’ families and caregivers. There are many ways for families to be involved inside and outside the classroom. If you are interested in learning more or joining the Family Council Leadership Team, please contact us at email@example.com.
