Daniel Sullivan has been teaching Humanities and Seminar at Boston Arts Academy for six years. Before teaching at BAA, he was a history teacher at Brighton High School. As a proud Alumnus of Boston Arts Academy as a bassist (’03), Mr. Sullivan is a true product of the Boston Public Schools, being a student of BPS schools from pre-school through high school, and being a child of BPS teachers. Since joining the faculty at BAA, Dan has taken on leadership positions on the Instructional Leadership Team, Professional Development Committee, Chair of the Humanities Department, and Chair of 11th and 12th grade Writing Seminar. He was also honored to have been the faculty speaker at the 2015 Graduation, a role that is chosen by the graduating seniors. Mr Sullivan also has taught Summer Reading at BAA for 1 year. He received his degree in history and sociology from UMASS Boston and his Masters in the Art of Teaching from Tufts University.
