Six students competed in the regional August Wilson monologue competition. All three of this year’s winners were BAA students! Amélie Talbot-Gomez is the alternate while the two champions going on to national finals are Zayda Adams and Tayjairine Arrieta. A huge shout out to our other three competitors - Ashley Long, Alana Cooks-Beeks, and Mya Atkinson.

We are also excited about the summer opportunities some of our theatre students have received. Three students have been accepted and will be attending summer programs at the NYU Tisch School Drama Program and the Boston University Summer Theatre Institute.
