Sarah Nichols

Sarah is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with expertise in behavioral medicine, specializing in work with children and adolescents with mood, anxiety and personality disorders. Sarah draws on methodology used in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic Theory. Sarah received her BA in Music from Brown University and then went on to get her M.Ed. in Special Education. She taught special education and music for five years in NYC before returning to school for her MSW, which she completed at Boston University. Sarah also supervises social workers at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA and previously worked on an adolescent residential treatment unit. She has a private practice in Boston, MA. In her free time, Sarah enjoys designing jewelry and metalsmithing, singing and playing piano. She owns a small jewelry design business called Tumble Jewel Co. and has a studio in Medford.
