David Felton has spent over two decades working within banking and financial services. A seasoned commercial and private banking professional, David is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Deposit Officer for the New England region at Main Street Bank, a $1.6 billion asset mutual bank headquartered in Marlborough, MA and with Commercial Banking Offices in Boston and Worcester. Having held various senior leadership positions at Rockland Trust, Customers Bank and Cambridge Trust, Felton has a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and driving growth through delivering upon a model of client, community and network engagement, collaboration, and exceptional client experience.
An avid supporter of the arts, education, human services and philanthropy, Felton has held Board positions at various organizations over the years. Currently, he serves as the Board Treasurer for Boston Arts Academy Foundation; the independent nonprofit organization that supports Boston’s only high school for the visual and performing arts. He also is a member of the Advisory Board for Understanding Our Differences in Newton, MA.
Felton grew up in Mansfield, MA and then spent over a decade living in the Boston area. Felton is a graduate of New England College of Business and now resides in Windham, NH with his wife, two daughters and son.
