Maureen Azor

Maureen joined the Boston Arts Academy Foundation as the Director of Relationship Development in February 2019. With eight years of communications, marketing, and community-building experience, she brings a varied technical skill set as well as a passion for the Boston community.

Maureen’s love for working with Boston Public Schools (BPS) began during her first volunteer event at a BPS elementary school. It was this experience that led her to her previous role as Communications, CRM, & Events Coordinator for the BPS Office of External Affairs. In her work with BPS, Maureen specialized in creating and executing effective communications strategies, focusing the bulk of her time on relationship management and content creation. She looks forward to bringing the same drive and dedication to the Boston Arts Academy Foundation.

Maureen moved to Boston from Brockton, MA in 2007 to attend Simmons College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing Communications. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog, playing guitar, and attending musical theatre performances.
