Meghan Walsh joined Boston Arts Academy Foundation in January of 2020. She has over 10 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit communications. She has held roles at the Metropolitan Opera, Helen Keller International, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and, most recently, the Italian Home for Children.

Originally from Franklin, MA, with deep family roots in the Boston area, Meghan grew up on a small farm in rural Maine. She graduated with honors from Ithaca College, majoring in English Literature and went on to receive an M.Phil in Anglo-Irish Literature from Trinity College, Dublin and an M.A. in English and American Literature from New York University. She has volunteered her time with the Ithaca College Alumni Committee and with United Way of Massachusetts Bay’s grant review panel.

Meghan spends much of her free time running long distances, perfecting her pie crust recipe, and accumulating too many books. She also enjoys visiting art museums and attending theater performances.
