Boston Arts Academy has been approved for a new building!
On behalf of the Boston Arts Academy (BAA) Board of Trustees, I am writing to inform you that the Massachusetts School Building Authority and the Boston City Council have approved an extensive redesign of the BAA building located at 174 Ipswich Street. The new facility will include a 500 seat auditorium, an expanded STEAM lab, a roof terrace, and dance, visual arts, theatre and fashion technology studios and workspaces.
This process has been many years in the making–the entire life of the school, in fact. The approval of funding for this much-needed project is extraordinary and will create much needed and enhanced academic and programming to our faculty and students. The renovation, which will begin during our 20th anniversary, marks a important milestone and commitment to our very bright future.

We look forward to letting you know more about the redesign soon.
