BAA Wins National STEAM Award & Grant

Boston Arts Academy’s STEAM initiative (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) has been recognized as a national model by the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH), the Americans for the Arts (AFTA), and The Ovation Foundation.

In conjunction with the Congressional STEAM Caucus, the Grants Award program was created to raise awareness of the value of integrating the arts with STEM curricula and to highlight K-12 school programs that have developed successful, measurable, and replicable STEAM programs.

Boston Arts Academy has been selected as one of eight schools nationally to receive this honor as a true role model for STEAM education! Members of the BAA community accepted the award on the school’s behalf at a ceremony held in Washington DC on November 3, 2015.
