2017 Apollo Award

Diane Guerrero has skyrocketed from Boston Arts Academy to starring roles in Orange is the New Black and Jane the Virgin. Diane has won two Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards and has been featured in the Boston Globe, CNN, and Vanity Fair. Diane has now added highly successful author to her growing list of accomplishments. Diane published her memoir, In the Country We Love: My Family Divided, in the spring of 2016 and it will be released in paperback in May of this year. Diane credits BAA with saving her and guiding her.
