Dr. Natasha Archer Visits BAA Biology Class

Dr. Natasha Archer, who has worked with Partners in Health in Haiti as well as Boston hospitals, visited BAA to share her experiences with our Junior Biology classes. Students learned about Dr. Archer’s experiences in Haiti with prenatal health. They also were able to discuss Sickle Cell disease, which they were then studying in class. Our students were very excited to learn from Dr. Archer, as many students or students’ families were from Haiti.

BAA’s Biology curriculum is part of a larger STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Curriculum here at BAA.
